Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors that GTA 6 marketing wouldn't ramp up until after the World Cup wrapped at the end of June, which puts the likely window for bigger marketing beats — a third trailer among them — somewhere between late June and early July.
Pre-orders going live on June 25 fed the rumor mill further, with plenty of fans expecting a trailer to land alongside that date. That didn't happen — Rockstar paired pre-orders with official box art and pricing instead, leaving gameplay footage as one of the last major pieces still missing from the marketing rollout.
