GTA 6 interiors guide: what you can actually enter, from nightclubs to the metro

Nightclubs, banks, pawn shops, metro stations and reportedly 700+ interiors in total. What's confirmed, what's insider reporting, and why it changes how the game plays.

01The headline numbers — and what's actually confirmed

Let's separate the layers, because most coverage blurs them. Officially confirmed by Rockstar's materials: a broad range of enterable interiors including nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, pawn shops, gun stores, supermarkets and public transit like the Vice City Metro Station. From insider reporting (January 2025, not officially confirmed): 700-plus enterable interiors in total, with roughly 40% of large buildings enterable and effectively all smaller shops open. The honest framing is that the official list already guarantees a generational step up from GTA 5's handful of functional interiors, and the insider numbers — if accurate — would make Leonida the most enterable open world ever shipped. Treat the types as fact and the totals as strong reporting.

02Every confirmed interior type

The confirmed and reported roster spans the whole civic fabric: bars, restaurants, fast-food joints and nightclubs on the social side; pawn shops, gun stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, gas stations and laundromats on the commercial strip; hotels for the tourist economy; and the heavyweight civic buildings — banks, hospitals, police stations and courthouses — reported enterable too. Add infrastructure: parking garages, metro stations, and reportedly sewers and hidden tunnels beneath the city. The pattern to notice is that nearly every category is either a robbery target, an escape route, or a mission stage. This isn't set dressing — it's the physical layer of the game's crime economy.

03Why interiors change the robbery game

GTA 6's confirmed economy runs on robberies converted through fences, and interiors are where that economy becomes spatial. Every enterable pawn shop, gas station and convenience store is a potential score with real geometry — entrances to control, staff and witnesses inside, back rooms and exits to learn. The gear wheel is clearly built for interior work: Zip Ties for controlling rooms, the Cut-off Tool for locks, the Flashlight for dark spaces, the Loot Bag for the haul. And the reported bank, courthouse and police station interiors point at heist and infiltration design that GTA 5 could only fake with mission-specific sets. Learning interior layouts will be genuine player skill — the difference between a clean score and a seized haul.

04Exploration, hideouts and the long tail

Beyond crime, interiors are the exploration layer. Reported sewers and tunnel networks mean the map has a literal underground; metro stations mean transit is traversal; hundreds of bars and shops mean ambient content density that no previous GTA approached. Expect the community's launch-week project to be cataloguing what's actually enterable versus reported — and that's exactly the kind of crowdsourced verification our map hub is built for: every confirmed interior becomes a pin, every pin gets verified by players, and the hub becomes the living index of what the wikis are still writing up. When the doors open on November 19, the fastest-updated interior map wins — and ours updates as fast as you do.
